Lex’s Learning Foundation was founded in October 2023 to honor the memory and continue the legacy of Alexandra Schmitt.

Alexandra was deeply passionate about science, nature, and the joy of learning. In her spirit, Lex’s Learning offers hands-on science and nature experiences, enriching the lives of students within our community.

Our mission

The mission of Lex’s Learning Foundation is to provide hands-on science materials to local schools in central Louisiana, empowering students to explore and engage with the world around them. We eliminate the barriers often associated with grants and educational funding by offering a simple application process that ensures every student has the opportunity to discover, learn, and grow.
